As The SMILE LaDy,Ensuring yOUR childs basic needs are met, while helping them tap into their inner SMILE (Purpose). Bridging the gap between our Elders and Youth. Everyone is here for a purpose (Born to SMILE) and it is our job as a community (The Village) to bring out the best in our children helping them work in their purpose. and spread a little JOY!
<>
As we come into this season of GIVING! Let us not forget the True reason for the season! Ask yourself "What am I celebrating? What am I teaching my children, friends etc..." Remember you teach people how to treat you.
<>
I refuse to buy into the fact, that I am a "ATM Nana" ... the only time you talk to me is when you want to tell me what you NEED for Christmas... "Duh" Grey hair does not mean Stupid, I think it is a sign of Wisdom.
<>
Our 9 Basic Needs are : Food/Shelter, Protection, Empathy, Community, Trust/Clarity, Celebration/Rest/Play, LOVE (Agape), Autonomy, Purpose!
<>
This is for everyone, no matter what race! Everyone has the SAME BASIC NEEDS!
<>
>>> The above is what we NEED... everything else is Icing on the cake, and how elaborate you make those "needs" out to be is on YOU! Do you really NEED FIVE CARS? 300 pair of shoes?
Everyone's basic needs are the same! And Think about it... SOOOO Many children are getting only ONE of the basic needs met "Food and Shelter!" That is sad!
<>
So let us come into this SEASON! SMILEing, looking for ways to SUPPORT, MOTIVATE, INVEST, LOVE, EDUCATE our Youth... ensuring ALL of their BASIC needs including CELEBRATION! is met! Have a wonderful HOLIDAY Season, and as Bishop Wilkerson (Agape Texas) Said in His Sermon Nov. 22... "It is Not all about YOU!"
